Our
pet kittens get the same care and live the same privileged life as
our show kittens. We keep the pet kittens until they are fourteen to
sixteen weeks old. When they leave us they will have been "vet
checked" at least three times. We do not inoculate our kittens
ourselves, but prefer to have our vet administer all vaccines and do
an examination at the same time to check their development. They
receive a series of kitten shots, they are vaccinated for bordetella,
and rabies and will be fully tested before they leave us.
We will be happy to help you find just the right Birman kitten for
you. Most times we place from a wait list, but occasionally we might
have a kitten available when you call. Also we will always be glad
to refer you to another Birman breeder who might live closer to you,
or to a breeder who might have kittens when we do not. Sometimes we
have retired show and/or breeder cats available for adoption. They
are usually between 2 and 5 years old.
Most times the difference between a top show kitten and a companion
kitten is the evenness of the white gloving. We usually have kittens
coming along most times of the year. We do not allow you to de-claw
any of our kittens, and all our pet owners are required to keep
their kittens and cats indoors and safe at all times. All of our pet
kittens come with a neuter/spay agreement. If at all possible we
will spay or neuter the kitten before it leaves us.
